RECREATIONAL SOCCER

The Recreational Program is a soccer program for all youth players. All-In Futbol Club at Sugar Hill supports US Youth Soccer’s teaching philosophy with respect to small-sided soccer in U4, U5, U6, U7, U8, U10 and U12 (U14 and above play 11v11). This philosophy allows the game to be the teacher by maximizing each player’s touches on the ball and encourages all the players to develop their skills in all positions. Further, the philosophy discourages intense competition until the older age groups.

All-In FC recreation FAQ

Can you explain the age divisions?

The ‘U’ in the division stands for ‘Under’, so when it says U10 that means players under the age of 10. All-In FC follows the age divisions created by U.S. Soccer and uses birth year to determine the appropriate age division. For example, 2014 and 2015 birth years are in the U12 division for the Spring of 2026. School grade or size of child are not a factor in the age division.

Can my child play down a division?

No, due to insurance and liability issues a child is not allowed to play down a division. For example, a U12 player may not play on a U10 team.

Can my child play up a division?

Yes, a player must have approval from an All-In FC staff member to play up a division. When you register, you will submit a play up code provided by an All-In FC staff member. Without the correct play up code your player will not be placed on an older team. However, even if a player has approval to play up, we will not honor that request if it prevents an age appropriate player being on a team. There must be an open spot in the division for a player to be allowed to play up.

What makes me eligible to play for All-In FC Buford?

Your player must have a Buford City Schools report card of City of Buford gas bill to play for All-In FC Buford in the spring at the Buford Youth Sports Complex. This was a recent rule change by the City of Buford. All-In FC was not involved with the decision, but we must abide by the new rule to have access to Buford Youth Sports Complex.

Can we request a specific coach or previous coach?

Yes, you may request a specific coach or previous coach. However, please reach out to the coach to make sure their practice schedule aligns with your practice availability. If you request Coach Kevin and he practices on Monday and Wednesday and you indicate in registration you can’t practice on Wednesday then you will not be placed on Coach Kevin’s team.

How many practices per week?

U6-U9 has one one-hour practice a week. U10 and above has two one-hour practices a week.

What days and times are practices?

Practice days and times are determined by the head coach of the team you’re placed on for that season. If you’re a U8 player that wants Tuesday practice, but none of the U8 coaches are practicing on Tuesday then we can’t put you on a Tuesday practice.

**In the spring, all Buford practices will be on Tuesday and Thursday at the Buford Youth Sports Complex at 5:30pm or 6:30pm

***In the spring, Seckinger practices will be on Tuesday and Thursday at Harmony Elementary School at 5:30pm or 6:30pm.

When and where are games played?

Games are played on Saturdays at Gary Pirkle Park, Buford Youth Sports Complex, Riverwatch Middle School. Games are only played on Sundays if there’s a scheduling conflict or a reschedule due to weather.

Who are the coaches?

All-In FC relies on volunteer coaches for its recreation program.

Can I coach my own son or daughter?

Yes, if you volunteer to coach your son or daughter will be placed on your team.

What if I have a conflict with a practice on a specific day?

When you register, you can request no practice on a certain day. For example, ‘No Wednesday practice.’ You may only make one request and can not select multiple days.

What does the registration fee cover?

The registration fee covers use of the parks and facilities, insurance, equipment, referees. The registration fee does not include the uniform.

Do I need to purchase a uniform?

If it’s your first season playing with All-In FC you will need to purchase a Capelli uniform kit. After you register, you will receive an email from Capelli approximately five days after you registered with a unique link to order your uniform. The uniform is a separate fee from registration. If you played for All-In FC in the Fall of 2025 and ordered a uniform, you may use that uniform again. That uniform is good for two years and/or through the Spring 2027 season.

What are the additional fees?

There are additional fees for use of the PlayMetrics app. In addition, we do have price increases of the registration cost as the registration deadline approaches.

Do you offer a sibling discount?

No, we do not offer any type of discount.

What is the difference between the recreation program and Academy/Select programs?

The Academy and Select programs are try-out based teams for players that want a more competitive soccer experience.

How are the teams created?

A variety of factors are used to place players on a team. Those factors in no particular order include coach request, practice night request, sibling playing soccer with All-In FC, number of players registered in the division, coaches available for that division.

Unfortunately, too many headers over the years has disabled our telepathy. As a result, it is best you make everything crystal clear in your registration and do not assume anything.
